Nuclear World

I am very happy to her that President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev discussed cutting the amount of nuclear weapons we have by 50%.
I feel that our world is a gigantic atomic bomb because we have such an abundant amount of nuclear weapons and guns. I am 12 years old and every day I fear I won’t get any older, because of all the bombs in our world.
Sometimes I feel like I’m walking on eggshells and every egg that breaks stands for a bomb dropped or a gun fired. I think that cutting our nuclear weapons by 50% is the biggest step towards peace we could make. Maybe our world still has some hope of becoming violence proof.
