PASSINGS : Fred Baum; Movie Producer and Writer

Fred Baum, 50, film producer and writer who began as a publicist in New York for Paramount Pictures. After coming to Los Angeles in 1963 Baum began building television credits, among them “A Home of Our Own,” “Relentless,” the series “Hawaii Five-O,” and the mini-series “Evita Peron.” He also was co-producer of the feature film “Up the Creek.” In Los Angeles on June 9 of cancer.
