Venice : Weekly Farmers Market Begins

A weekly farmers market will begin operation on Friday from 7 to 11 a.m. on Windward Avenue at Ocean Front Walk.
An estimated 35 to 45 farmers will sell fruit, vegetables, flowers, nuts, honey, eggs and other items. Produce will be certified by the state Department of Food and Agriculture.
Parking is available next to the market site. An RTD bus stop is located one block from the area.
The market is sponsored by the Venice Action Committee, a local nonprofit community organization. It will be open every Friday morning from 7 to 11 a.m. For more information, call (213) 396-8520.
