A 24-year-old mother of three is being held on suspicion of murder after San Diego police found her 2-year-old son drowned in a swimming pool in the 3600 block of Altadena Street.
Police found John C. Lewis at 9:30 Wednesday night and arrested Creana Lewis, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The boy had third-degree burns on both legs, possibly from being placed in a bathtub of scalding water, said Robinson.
The boy’s father hasn’t lived with the family since September. The other Lewis children Shawn, 3, and Kendra, 9 months, are being kept at the Hillcrest Receiving Home, Robinson said.
