Alabama Teacher Shot in Class; Sister Accused

MOBILE, Ala. — A parochial school teacher was shot and wounded this morning as she supervised youngsters gathered in a classroom before the start of school, and police arrested the woman’s sister in the assault.
No children were injured in the shooting, shortly before 8 a.m. in the sixth-grade classroom at Most Pure Heart of Mary School near downtown. Police said Angela Jan Brown, whose wound was not serious, told them her sister shot her.
