. . . In a recent piece on 20th Century-Fox, the New York Times’ Aljean Harmetz waxed enthusiastic about box-office biggies such as Steven Spielberg’s “Return of the Jedi.” Geez, and all this time we thought that was a George Lucas pic!
. . . It’s called “Why . . . Because We Like You.” But not everyone in the Disney Channel’s upcoming MOW--about the genesis of the original Mickey Mouse Club--likes everyone else! A casting sheet describes the show’s original producer (the late Bill Walsh) as “ not very fond of children.”
. . . We make mistakes too--like calling the upcoming “Pilgrim Aflame” a PG; the MPAA now tells us it hasn’t even been submitted for a rating.
