Granada Hills Crash Kills Van Nuys Man

A 49-year-old man was killed early Saturday when he drove his car through a red light in Granada Hills, police said.
The man, a Van Nuys resident who was not identified pending notification of his relatives, drove about 15 m.p.h. through a red light at the intersection of Woodley Avenue and Devonshire Street, said Officer Dennis Smith of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
The man died immediately after being struck by another car, Dennis said.
