One Goal Enough for CSUN Soccer Team

Cal State Northridge’s Rick Iversen scored 10 minutes into the second half and a stingy Matador defense made the goal stand up in a 1-0 California Collegiate Athletic Assn. soccer victory over Cal Poly Pomona.
Bobby Reyes assisted on the goal for the visitors. CSUN goalie Jeff Blumkin saved 10 shots to record the shutout.
With the win, Northridge improved to 9-6 overall, 3-1 in conference play.
