Police broke up an illegal cockfighting operation at a South-Central Los Angeles home, arresting 14 men and confiscating 18 roosters.
The men arrested in Sunday’s raid were expected to be cited for misdemeanor violations, Sgt. Dan Pugel said.
“We believe it was a pretty sophisticated operation,” he said.
