Good Year for Catfish

Catfish farmers ended 1988 with larger production and higher prices than they did the year before, according to the Agriculture Department. December output rose 10% from a year earlier to 22.6 million pounds of live weight, and prices averaged 78 cents per pound, up 14 cents.
