Irvine-based Campbell Automotive Group, one of the largest auto dealership groups in Orange County, said it has agreed to acquire Gateway Buick/GMC Trucks in Corona to expand its presence in Southern California. John Campbell, president and chief executive officer of Campbell Automotive, would not disclose the terms of the agreement other than to say that escrow is expected to close around March 1.
