CSUN Records Sweep in Men’s Volleyball

Ron Graening and Rob Samuelson powered Cal State Northridge to a 15-9, 15-8, 15-11 victory over UC San Diego in a nonconference men’s volleyball match Saturday night at Northridge.
The victory was the second in a row and third in the past four matches for Northridge (6-8 overall).
Graening had a match-high 15 kills and Samuelson added 12 as the Matadors compiled a .455 hitting percentage.
Joe Sorensen added 10 kills for Northridge, which will travel to Hawaii for Western Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. matches Tuesday and Thursday.
Nick Rothman and Nate Brown each had nine kills for UC San Diego (3-11).
