Campeau Corp.’s Federated and Allied department store group said it promoted Jeffrey Sherman to be president of the Bloomingdale’s division, effective immediately. Sherman, 40, formerly executive vice president of the department store chain, succeeds Robert Tammero, who was named to a new Federated/Allied post of president of regional support services for the Northeast. In that post, Tammero will be responsible for improving operating efficiencies for the overall company and for helping to oversee Bloomingdale’s expansion.
