Seguso 3-Set Winner Over Connors in Forum Exhibition

Robert Seguso, a doubles specialist, defeated veteran Jimmy Connors, 5-7, 6-2, 7-5, Wednesday night in an exhibition tennis match at the Forum.

The 26-year-old Seguso, 10 years younger than Connors, survived one match point at 4-5 of the third set. He hit two service winners to tie the score, 5-5, then broke Connors in the next game with two forehand winners. He held serve for the match in a game that featured his 11th ace.
