Diane Sherman has been appointed curator of education at the Laguna Art Museum. Formerly public programs coordinator at the Staten Island Children’s Museum in New York, she holds a master of arts in teaching and museum education from George Washington University in Washington and a bachelor of arts in art history and fine arts from Connecticut College. Her background also includes a graduate internship in the education department of the Hirshorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington. Sherman lives in Newport Beach.
