A 24-year-old woman has been missing since Saturday when she left for work, the Sheriff’s Department reported. Her abandoned car with a flat tire was found near her place of employment in San Marcos.
Phuong Gaip was last seen Friday night by her brother. She was scheduled to report to work at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, but her employers said she never arrived.
Her 1988 gray Honda Accord was found near her workplace. The car had an unrepaired flat tire, the doors were locked and the keys were not found, Lt. John Tenwolde said.
Gaip graduated from San Pascual High School and attended Palomar College last year.
