A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in front of a Logan Heights bar, police reported Monday.
Roberto Espitia of San Diego was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he died, police said.
Witnesses told police that Espitia was shot in the upper torso Sunday after an altercation near the bar with the occupants of a car parked in the 2600 block of National Avenue, police said.
The car was seen leaving the scene immediately after the shooting, police said. Police are looking for a black pickup truck, also seen at the scene, for possible witnesses to the shooting.
Sgt. Ed Petrick said no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
