Controversy Over Supreme Court’s Abortion Decision
- Share via
I will not have my daughters and myself less free than my son and my husband are. Just as Deng and his buddies shot down students in the Beijing square, the court and our government shot down the rights of all of us by turning half of us into breeding stock.
Potential life does not vote but we do. When I helped an 80-year-old black woman to vote for the first time in the early ‘60s I never doubted that it was as much for me as it was for her. I still believe that. I will vote only one issue until I have my rights back. It is our only weapon. Vote wisely; our rights depend on it.
