Jill Martin, wife of former New York Yankee manager Billy Martin said a $35,000 lien filed against her husband by the Internal Revenue Service is “a great mistake” because they have been meeting a pre-approved payment schedule with the IRS.

IRS agents confirmed they filed a lien for $35,564.62 against Martin’s assets, which include a farm near Binghamton, N.Y., where the Martins live.
