UCSD Parking

On July 11, you announced that visitors to the UC San Diego campus at night and on weekends must now pay for parking at the rate of $1 per evening or $2 on Saturday or Sunday (“UCSD Starts Charging $1 to $2 for Parking on Nights, Weekends”).
This is not fully accurate. Patrons of the La Jolla Playhouse, situated on the UCSD campus, are not charged, their parking having been arranged by agreement between the Playhouse and the university.
Theater fans who treat themselves to Playhouse attractions have always enjoyed complimentary parking and still do.
