Benefit to Provide Aid for Homeless Women

A benefit to help homeless women in Orange County will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 27 in Newport Beach.
The event is sponsored by Orange County--The Woman’s Foundation, a group that works to improve opportunities for women and girls.
Proceeds from the fund-raiser, to be held at Sapori Ristorante, 1080 Bayside Drive, will be used to provide food, clothing and shelter for homeless women.
Tickets are $35, which includes dinner and entertainment, and may be obtained by calling (714) 768-1712.
