Servite’s Troxel Will Attend Pacific to Play Baseball

Pitcher Chad Troxel of Servite High School signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of the Pacific, his father, Doug Troxel, said Monday.
Troxel, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-hander, was a two-time All-Angelus League selection, and led the Friars in strikeouts this season with 76.
Troxel chose Pacific over San Diego State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
