Long Beach : Rancho Fund Raising OKd

The City Council has approved an agreement that will allow fund raising to start for a $4-million restoration of historic Rancho Los Alamitos east of the Cal State Long Beach campus.
The council OKd a 10-year master plan for restoring the rancho as a historic site, including improvements to the house, gardens and barns. New buildings will be opened at the rancho for a visitor reception area, audio-visual presentations and a permanent exhibit.
