CHICAGO — Jeff Sanders, one of the three Chicago Bulls’ first-round draft picks this past June, suffered a stress fracture in his right foot, the team announced.
The problem was discovered in a bone scan by team physician John Hefferon. It is believed Sanders suffered the injury in practice Oct. 9.
Sanders, a 6-9 forward from Georgia Southern, is expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks.
