NEW YORK — Next month, there will be no more tomorrows for Fox Broadcasting’s “Beyond Tomorrow” series. But there will be a cartoon series, the only one on a broadcast network in prime time, the company said Wednesday.
Fox canceled its futurist newsmagazine series. It said its new half-hour “The Simpsons” will join its Sunday schedule Jan. 14, preceded by “America’s Most Wanted” and followed by “Married . . . With Children.”
“Totally Hidden Video,” a comedy show now airing Sundays, will be shifted to Saturday nights on Jan. 13 to make room for the animated Simpsons series, skits of which first aired between segments of Fox’s “The Tracey Ullman Show.”
