Schwarzenegger Accepts Libel Settlement: Actor and bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger Thursday accepted damages and an apology from a British newspaper that had alleged he held fervent Nazi views and was a secret admirer of Adolf Hitler. Austrian-born Schwarzenegger, whose hit films include “Conan the Barbarian” and “Terminator,” sued the News of the World over an article last February entitled “Hollywood Star’s Nazi Secret.” In addition to paying undisclosed damages and legal costs, the company also agreed in the out-of-court settlement never to repeat the allegations.
