Iraq Makes 2nd Buy of American Wheat

WASHINGTON — Iraq bought 109,450 metric tons of U.S. wheat, with a value of about $16.5 million, in its second major wheat purchase in two days, the Agriculture Department reported today. The sale was made at subsidized prices through the Export Enhancement Program. Terms called for the hard red winter wheat to be delivered in February and March.
Three exporters were given bonuses worth $16.35 a ton for making the sale.
