Details of an autopsy performed Thursday on the body of Tommie Gray, starting nose tackle for the Cal State Northridge football team, will not be released until toxicological tests have been performed, according to the L. A. County coroner’s office.
The results of those tests will not be available for more than a week, a coroner’s investigator said.
Gray, 21, died late last Friday of heart failure while visiting with friends at the University Park Apartments complex swimming pool in Northridge.
