Northern Telecom in joint Venture: Nashville, Tenn.-based Northern Telecom, BHG telecommunications of Budapest, and Austria Telecommunication announced the formation of a joint venture to manufacture and supply digital switching systems in Hungary. The new company, which is based in Budapest, will begin operations on July 1. The firm will provide a full range of digital switching systems to Magyer Posta, the Hungarian national telecommunications network.
