Christ College Irvine Sweeps in Softball

De Brunk had five hits and nine RBIs in two games Wednesday to lead Christ College Irvine’s softball team to a doubleheader sweep of Claremont-Scripps, 9-1 and 15-4, at Irvine.

Brunk had a hit and three RBIs and Judy Lotton had three hits and two RBIs in the first game. Brunk had four hits and six RBIs and Kathy Carroll had two hits and three RBIs in the second game for Irvine (22-19).
