Santa Clarita Council Victors to Take Office

Swearing-in ceremonies for the three victors in last week’s Santa Clarita City Council election will be held today at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at 23920 Valencia Blvd.
Community activist Jill Klajic, the top vote-getter, will take the oath of office along with Mayor Jo Anne Darcy and Councilman Carl Boyer III. All three will serve four-year terms. Councilman Howard P. (Buck) McKeon and Councilwoman Jan Heidt will be up for reelection in 1992.
