NEW ORLEANS — The Saints signed two free agents today:
- Thomas King, 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, began his college career as a starting quarterback at Southwestern Louisiana but moved to the defensive backfield after one season. He was drafted in the eighth round by Green Bay last year, but the Packers cut him during training camp and signed him to their developmental roster, where he spent the season.
- Linebacker Eric Lindstrom, 6-foot-3 and 235, is a Boston College alum who spent last season on the developmental roster of the Minnesota Vikings. He was a seventh-round pick by New England in last year’s draft.
