Times handicapper Bob Mieszerski lost $20 Wednesday when Popping Champagne, the second half of his parlay, ran third in the seventh race after Valueval ($5.20) had won the fourth race. Bob, who started the meeting with a mythical $1,000 bankroll, is at $918.40.
Bob’s bet today is a $3 triple from Independent Stan, Brother Vik and Renegado in the sixth to Royal Eagle, Chaperral Motel and Fiesta Del Sol in the seventh to Agirlfromars in the eighth.
