The Cultural Foundation, a Woodland Hills nonprofit group that is trying to build an arts center in the Sepulveda Basin, has announced that it will distribute ecology-oriented coloring books to 100,000 children in San Fernando Valley elementary schools.
“You Me and a Tree” includes drawings of trees, animals and birds that are found in the basin. The 24-page book, which also has puzzles and games, was presented at an Earth Day tree-planting ceremony on the proposed site of the arts center.
