Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

A car struck and killed a bicyclist in a hit-and-run collision in Van Nuys early Saturday, Los Angeles police said.
The bicyclist, who had not been identified by Saturday evening, died at the scene of the 3:30 a.m. crash at Sepulveda Boulevard near Cohasset Street, Sgt. Gilbert Rendon said.
Witnesses told police the man was riding west across Sepulveda when he was struck by the car, which continued south on Sepulveda.
The victim appeared to be in his mid-20s, Rendon said.
