More than 1,000 elementary and junior high school students and their parents are expected to attend a Curriculum Connection Faire on Saturday at South Gate Junior High School, an annual event to highlight student yearly achievements.
Books written by students, their artwork and math and science projects will be displayed. Students also will give music and dance performances during the event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The students attend schools in the Southeast area of Los Angeles Unified School District’s Administrative Region B. There are 40 elementary and six junior high schools in the region.
