IRVINE : Worker Killed in Fall From High-Rise

A 36-year-old construction worker fell to his death Wednesday from the 14th floor of an unfinished high-rise, authorities said.
Witnesses told authorities that Robert Gonzales worker was not wearing a safety belt when he fell from a steel beam at a building construction site in the 18000 block of Von Karman Avenue near the San Diego Freeway.
