Burglary Report Leads Police to Slaying

San Diego police investigating a reported burglary found a man dead and a woman injured in the 500 block of 65th Street Thursday morning, police said.
Sgt. Jake Hughes said officers found the man covered with blood and lying on the steps outside the building. When they checked inside, they discovered a woman who had been attacked. In another room, officers found Keith Williams, 31. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and one count of attempted murder.
The woman was taken to Paradise Valley Hospital. No other information was available late Thursday.
