A No-Show for McCartney: Paul McCartney will not perform at the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Conn., on July 29 because of neighborhood opposition to the planned show’s crowds. “Paul is very sensitive to community concerns of this sort and has no desire to be the catalyst for such a deep and divisive controversy within the city,” said the ex-Beatle’s manager, Richard Ogden. New Haven fans will be able to attend McCartney’s shows July 24 and July 26 in Foxboro, Mass.
