Forward Sam Perkins of the Dallas Mavericks was injured in a car accident in the Dallas suburb of Addison when his car collided with another car at an intersection as Perkins was attempting to turn left, police said. In a statement released by the team, Perkins said he “was fine” despite suffering a sprained left hand.
