San Marino 5, El Segundo 4--The Titans rallied for four runs in the sixth inning and added another in the seventh to defeat the defending champion Eagles in the 2-A title game.
Tate Seefried held San Marino (26-3-1) scoreless on two hits for five innings, but the Titans had five consecutive hits to take a 4-2 lead. Blair Slattery doubled home a run, Mark Ukropina singled home two and John Imlay doubled home the final run.
El Segundo (30-4), which set Souther Section season records for hits and runs scored with 358 and 370, got a run back in the bottom of the sixth when Seefried tripled and scored on a wild pitch by Dan Giddens (7-1).
Each team added a run in the seventh.
