Williams-Sonoma Takes Over California Closet

Williams-Sonoma Inc., a San Francisco-based retailer of kitchenware and specialty home and garden products, completed the acquisition of California Closet Co. in Woodland Hills in a stock swap worth about $11.6 million, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
California Closet sells closet-reorganizing services through 97 franchise territories and five company-owned territories, with annual sales of about $60 million.
