HUNTINGTON BEACH — A motorcyclist was critically injured Friday when a car turned left into his path, police said.
Kenneth Snyder, 35, of Laguna Beach was listed in critical condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange with severe injuries to his head and right leg, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Snyder was heading south on Beach Boulevard about 4 p.m. when a car driven by Maribelle Socorro, 34, of Orange turned into his path from Taylor Drive, said Huntington Beach Police Lt. Patrick Gildea. The impact threw Snyder into the northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard. He was not wearing a helmet, Gildea said.
