SHORT TAKES : Clapton to Tour U.S. in Summer

NEW YORK — Ol’ Slow Hand himself, Eric Clapton, will return to the United States in late July for the second half of his world tour.
The tour, which included his recent appearance at London’s Royal Albert Hall, is to promote Clapton’s LP, “Journeyman,” which features the hot singles “Pretending,” “Bad Love” and “No Alibis.”
Clapton will play in 22 cities beginning July 23 in Miami and ending Sept. 2 in Biloxi, Miss.
