CLARKSBURG, N.J. — Mister Frisky continues to improve from a life-threatening throat abscess and could be released from a clinic here in less than two weeks, his veterinarian said Tuesday.
The 3-year-old colt “has shown dramatic improvement” in the last two days, said Dr. Scott E. Palmer. The horse’s appetite is getting better and fever medication and intravenous fluids have been discontinued.
Palmer said Mister Frisky is grazing on pasture and drinking water without difficulty. The horse could be released from New Jersey Equine Clinic in a week or two, he said.
