Chrysler to Sell Jeeps in Japan: Honda Motor Co. will sell Chrysler Corp. Jeeps through some of its dealers in Japan beginning this fall. Honda and Chrysler announced that 1991-model Jeep Wranglers and Cherokee sport-utility vehicles will be sold in about 750 of Honda’s Primo dealerships. The firms expect about 2,000 Jeeps to be sold in the next model year, which would double Chrysler’s sales in Japan, and marks the first time a U.S. firm has used Honda’s Japanese dealers to sell vehicles. General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Corp. already sell vehicles in Japan.
