Pasadena : Care for Elderly, Children

The city will join other agencies to form a combined day-care center for 75 preschool children and 50 disabled senior citizens.
City directors Tuesday approved the formation of the Pasadena Intergenerational Development Care Consortium, which also includes Huntington Hospital, the Pasadena Senior Center and Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School.
The consortium plans to apply for money from the Mark Taper Foundation to establish the center, intended as a model program.
