SHORT TAKES : Donahue’s Wife Fills In Women

NEW YORK — Thousands of women may consider talk-show host Phil Donahue to be the ideal husband, but the one who married him says he’s far from perfect.
“Phil is the greatest husband in the world, and he’s nothing to brag about,” Marlo Thomas told the General Federation of Women’s Clubs convention Tuesday.
She says her husband shares a trait common among married men--always asking their wives where their shoes, keys and other belongings are.
“And the thing that kills me is, we know where those things are!”
Thomas also told the group at a Times Square hotel that women get a bum rap in the business world.
