La Verne : Change in Sign Law Studied

A joint City Council and Planning Commission committee will attempt to work out changes in the city’s sign code.
Mayor Pro-Tem Thomas Harvey criticized a report by Community Development Director Steve Preston that suggested the city try to communicate its sign requirements more clearly.
Harvey said the city should try to help business people and be flexible, not just give them more information.
