Los Angeles performance artist Tim Miller has been added to the lineup of speakers at Thursday’s Coalition for Freedom of Expression forum on the National Endowment for the Arts controversy. Miller is co-director of Highways, a leading performance space in Santa Monica. He is one of four performance artists nationwide whose NEA grant was approved by the professional review panel but overturned by the NEA’s chairman, John E. Frohnmeyer.
The free event, organized by the Orange County committee of the coalition, will take place Thursday at 8 p.m. in council chambers at the Huntington Beach Civic Center, 2000 Main St. (An incorrect date for the event was listed in Saturday’s Calendar.) Information: (714) 960-9147.
